- Personal Identity Info: When you submit an advertisement request or share a job notice, we collect your Name and Phone Number.
- Uploaded Images: If you choose to share a recruitment clipping or Department flyer with us, the uploaded image is transmitted and stored securely in our database.
- Anonymous Performance Data: We utilize Google Analytics for Firebase to collect basic, non-identifiable usage statistics (e.g. app session duration, geographic region, device model) to optimize app stability.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your details are used exclusively for app operations and developer communications:
- To verify, format, and publish your crowdsourced job notice submissions to the public feed.
- To contact you directly via phone call regarding your advertisement requests.
- To monitor app crashes and improve UI stability.
We do not share, lease, rent, or sell your personal details or images to third-party data brokers or marketing services.
3. Secure Cloud Hosting & Protection
All data is hosted securely using industry-grade infrastructure provided by Google Firebase Services (Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, and Google Analytics). Data is encrypted in transit and securely partitioned on Google's enterprise-grade cloud databases.
4. Moderation of Crowdsourced Notices
To ensure a safe environment for all job seekers, all user-submitted job notices are held in a secure pending queue and undergo manual review by the administrator before being approved and formatted. Spam, duplicate postings, or inappropriate uploads are immediately deleted.
5. Data Deletion Requests
You have full ownership of your data. If you wish to delete your phone number or any previously uploaded job notice images from our systems, simply send an email request to manipurjobsandnews@gmail.com, and we will wipe it immediately.
6. Push Notifications & Device Token
When you grant notification permission, our app uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send you job alerts based on your chosen category preferences (e.g. Manipur Govt., Central Govt., Private Jobs). This process involves:
- A unique FCM device token being automatically generated by Google and stored on Google's servers. We do not store or access this token ourselves.
- Topic subscriptions (e.g. "manipur_govt", "private_jobs") that route relevant notifications to your device.
- You can disable notifications at any time from the app's Notification Settings or from your phone's system settings.
Notification preferences (which categories you subscribe to) are stored only on your device and are never shared with us or any third party.
7. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Our app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob to help support the free service we provide. Google AdMob may:
- Use your device's Advertising ID (GAID) to deliver personalised or non-personalised ads based on your general interests.
- Collect anonymous device information such as device model, OS version, and general location region for ad targeting and fraud prevention.
- Show rewarded video ads that you may optionally watch in exchange for accessing PDF notices for free.
We do not control what data Google AdMob collects. You can review Google's advertising privacy practices at: https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of personalised ads by adjusting your device settings under Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.
8. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The following data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:
- Bookmarked Jobs: Job IDs you save to your bookmarks list.
- App Theme Preference: Whether you prefer dark or light mode.
- Downloaded PDFs: Official PDF notices you download are saved in your app's private internal storage for offline access.
- Cached Images & Logos: Job logos and images are cached locally for faster loading and offline display.
This locally stored data remains on your device until you uninstall the app or clear the app's data from phone settings.
9. Children's Privacy
Our app is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has submitted personal information through our app, please contact us at manipurjobsandnews@gmail.com and we will delete it immediately.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

It is not representing, affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with the Government of Manipur, the Government of India, or any of their specific departments. All government-related job listings are compiled solely from public job postings and official department circulars for user convenience.
Safety Disclaimer & Terms of Use
- 1. We are a Private App: This app is run by a private team. We do not work for the Government of Manipur, the Central Government, or any company. We only collect public job news to help you find them in one place.
- 2. Double-Check All Information: We copy job news from newspapers, boards, and official websites. We try our best to be correct, but we cannot promise that everything is 100% correct all the time. Please always visit the official department website or office to check the details before you apply.
- 3. NEVER Pay Money for Jobs: Some fake employers pretend to offer jobs to steal money. Never pay any money for application forms, registration fees, training, uniforms, security deposits, or job offers. Real employers will never ask you for money to get a job. If someone asks for money, do not pay them and report them to us.
- 4. For Career & Training Listings: We do not guarantee or endorse the quality, certificates, admission criteria, or placement claims made by any coaching centers, internships, training academies, or career seminars. Please check their registration, fees, and reviews independently before you pay them any money or enroll.
- 5. Be Safe During Interviews: If a private employer calls you for an interview, make sure it is in a real, public office building. Avoid meeting employers in private houses, hotels, or quiet places.
- 6. Protect Your Personal Information: Do not share your bank account number, ATM pin, OTPs, or copy of your PAN/Aadhaar card with anyone over WhatsApp or phone calls unless you have verified the office in person.
- 7. No Guarantee of Jobs: We only show the vacancy news. We do not hire anyone, we do not arrange interviews, and we do not select candidates. Getting a job depends entirely on your qualifications and the employer.
- 8. We are Not Responsible for Loss: If any dispute, scam, fraud, loss of money, or problem happens between you and a private company, training center, internship provider, or employer, this app and its team will not be responsible or liable in any way. You use this information at your own risk.
